Garlic

Spain Family Farm Garlic is grown using organic practices, but we are not certified organic. Each clove is planted by hand, weeded by hand, cared for by Andy & Amanda Spain themselves. We pour our hearts into this crop so your meals are more delicious!

Why do we love garlic?

  1. Garlic tastes amazing. It is versatile and elevates every meal. From Cajun to Italian to Indian food- garlic pairs perfectly.
  2. Garlic is so healthy. It is highly nutritious without all the calories. Garlic has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties- mostly for colds and flus. There are a variety of studies that show the positive health impacts of garlic!
  3. Garlic has long storage times.
  4. Garlic makes amazing spices. Try ours and see for yourself!

Welcome to Spain Family Farm! We're Andy and Amanda Spain, proud parents of two. We are passionate about keeping family farming alive. In 2022, we established Spain Family Farm, LLC in Dwight, Illinois, with a dream of building something meaningful for our family and community.

One of the first crops we fell in love with was garlic—versatile, flavorful, and packed with health benefits. Today, garlic is at the heart of our farm, and we take pride in growing it with care, from seed to harvest. We enjoy providing garlic and spices straight to your dinner table.

We also raise chickens for eggs, Nubian goats for milk, and lavender.

As our farm grows, we’re exploring new ways to care for the land and the creatures we share it with. Species conservation has become an important part of our mission. We believe every small action can make a big impact.

Our farm is rooted in a love for the land, a commitment to quality, and a belief in doing things the right way—slow, simple, and honest. Whether you're here to support local agriculture, try our garlic, or just learn more about who we are, we’re truly grateful you’re here.

Thank you for being part of our journey!
